Millie
under 1yr
Adoption Donation $800
Mille is a bundle of joy and endless energy! This Boston Mix couldn’t be cuter with her wrinkly face, her button nose and her beautiful brindle coat. Oh yeah, and her little tail is adorable!. She is still under a year old and definitely acts like a happy go lucky puppy!
She is full of love and affection and wants to play with you constantly. She loves toys, balls, anything she can fetch and get your attention with! Millie is very curious and wants to be part of the action at all times. She is extremely alert and ready to help you out with whatever is going on around the house. She can be a little demanding with other furry friends. We have been working on respecting her foster sister’s space and responding to her name and simple commands.
Mille was not completely potty trained when she came to live with us. She has made great progress with consistency and routine. She can play pretty rough, so we are also working on playing more gently when necessary. The great news about Millie is that is really smart and learns quickly. It has been amazing to see how fast she catches on!
She loves going for walks and does fantastic on a leash. This also really helps her get her energy out.
She does great with other dogs, although she would probably do best with another dog that could somewhat match her energy level. I am not sure about cats or young children. Millie loves people and all the attention she can get (she knows she is ADORABLE). She wants to please and can be very affectionate with endless cuddles and kisses!
She has only been with us for a short time, but has done an amazing job adjusting to her new surroundings. She will do best in an active home with someone that has the time and patience to raise a young dog. I promise it will be worth it! She will steal your heart and before you know it, you’ll wonder how you ever got along without her!

Harold Pug age 10
Maude Chihuahua age 8
Bonded Pair
Adoption Donation $550 for both
Meet Our Adorable Duo: Harold and Maude! Are you looking to welcome an instant dose of love, snuggles, and playful companionship into your life? Look no further because we have the perfect dynamic duo just for you. Meet Harold, the sweet 10-year-old Pug, and his loyal sidekick, Maude, the charming 8-year-old Chihuahua. These two precious pups are inseparable, and they're searching for a forever home where they can continue their heartwarming bond.
Maude, the Charming Chihuahua: Maude is a sassy and sweet little girl with soulful eyes and a heart full of affection. She's packed with a ton of personality and an endless supply of love to give. Maude adores being around people and loves pets and cuddles. She's always up for an adventure and enjoys going on leisurely walks, exploring the outdoors, and being your faithful companion.
Harold, the Lovable Pug: Harold is an absolute sweetheart who is as loving as can be. He is a quiet and gentle man that will give you a hearty Awoooo! when excited about something. He's a playful and sprightly senior who loves to be included in activities and will happily wag his curly tail when he's feeling content. Harold adores snuggling up with his favorite humans and cherishes every moment of gentle affection he receives. At his foster home, he has been wearing a belly band in the house. He has improved with time and his desire to mark and we believe that this may be an issue of the past with proper ongoing training.
Compatibility: Maude and Harold get along well with other dogs, and their social natures make them great candidates for families with existing furry companions. While we don't have specific information about their interactions with children, their gentle and loving personalities indicate that they have the potential to be wonderful family pets. A proper introduction and gradual acclimation to children would be recommended to ensure a harmonious transition.
Perfect Home: We are seeking a forever home for Maude and Harold that values love, patience, and commitment. Maude and Harold would thrive in a calm and nurturing environment where they can receive plenty of love, attention, and daily exercise. They enjoy their snuggle time, so a cozy spot on the couch or a soft bed for them to curl up on would be a cherished addition to their new home.

Farrell
Male Age approx 7yrs?
Adoption Donation $350
Hello, my name is Ball, I love to play ball. Oh wait, my name is Farrell (sounds like Fur-rail). Did I tell you I like to play ball? My favorite thing other than eating is to play ball. I’m an affectionate little guy. I like when you hug my face and scratch me all over. I get along with my other fosters, but really, I would like to be an only dog because I like to play ball and I don’t want them to steal it from me. I also like toys too. I’m a "like" kinda guy, I like this, I like that!
Because I came from the streets (I don’t know what happened there) we aren’t sure of my age. Some said 10, (I’m not 10 years old! – just sayin), but my foster mom thinks I’m more around 4/5 years old. Did I tell you I like to play ball? When you throw the ball, I will bring it back to you and even make sure it is close enough for you to grab it. I’m also an independent guy. When everyone goes to bed here, I jump up on my foster papa’s favorite chair and sleep there until the morning coffee is ready and then I go outside and go potty. Speaking of potty, I am really working on that, but just haven’t mastered it yet, but again, working on it.
I think I will be ok with children that understands boundaries, but would like to play ball with me. I was bad with kitties in one house I went to, so we should say no kitties! When I’m not playing ball, I like to rest near my foster papa’s work desk or back to his favorite chair. I like going for walks and I do really well. Yeah, I do make my stops, but all in all, I’m pretty good. Oh, I forgot, I get eye drops twice a day, ya know, it’s a pug thing.
So, think about me. I’m not a high maintenance guy. I really want to please you and I will bring my own ball!

Tucker
6yr old Puggle?
Adoption Donation $250
Tucker came to us when his owners health prevented them from caring for him. We were told he is a puggle and sometimes we can see a little pug, but honestly we are not sure if there is any pug in there! Tucker is a medium size dog, he weighs about 30 lbs. but he is lean and strong.
Tucker is very smart, he knows lots of tricks and really loves his people. He is an expert snuggler, and 100% potty trained! He is very healthy and active, he absolutely loves having a back yard to run and play in. There is not a better dog than Tucker when you are just home alone with him!
Tucker lived with an elderly couple and did not get out much to socialize, he also did not get much exercise since they were unable to walk him. This shows in the fact that he seems to have quite a bit of fear for new situations and people. On walks he will bark at other dogs and people and pull you along, because of his size he can be difficult to hold on to when this happens so he will need someone who is strong enough to handle him. When new people come to the house he barks and growls, but this is all a show...within minutes he is acting like a puppy, getting on their lap, licking their toes and trying to play and jumping on them.
Tucker lives with a elderly pug and had done great with her, he has been a bit too interested in cats so will need a cat free home. Small children will not be a good fit as he does like to jump on people and does not know his own strength.
The best situation for Tucker would be with someone who has experience with dogs with fear issues that knows how to help Tucker become better on a leash and meet people without being so scared. He also would do great in a home with a large property that he can run and play on and not a lot of coming and goings of new people.
Tucker is a wonderful boy that is very loyal and protective of his humans he really is a great companion for the right person!

Choco
5-6 yr old male
Adoption Donation $300
Hola mi nombre es Choco! Yes that is right, I am bilingual because I came here from Mexico back in October of Last year! I got here and was all ready to get adopted and start my new life, but because of the neglect I suffered there was lots of work to do to get my health on track. I think I can finally say things are stabilizing and I am on the uphill swing! I have seen a internal medicine doctor for gut issues and I got my hip repaired by a surgeon. I will need a special food and some supplements but none of them are too expensive. If you are interested in me the nice people here can give you a detailed run down if you email them at adoptions@pacificpugrescue.org
Now let's talk about me and what a great dog I am!
What do I most love?
· Movie nights, on the sofa, snuggling up against a warm body. Human or dog, I don’t discriminate. I loooooooooooooove massages. Best of all, the belly rub! But, watch out because before you know it, I will literally melt off the sofa.
· Food, as much as I can get. But my foster parents say I have to be on a low fat diet and take various pills to keep me healthy. I don't like being restricted in what I eat, so even if it's in a box and wrapped up, I will climb into the box and happily unwrap it to eat whatever it is. Oh, and be careful when you let me outside because I really like looking for poop or slugs or anything else that is gross and gooey.
· Walks, and now that I’ve had my hip operation I am slowly extending my range. But not a route march, I like taking nice long walks sniffing out the neighborhood.
I am potty trained but I get taken out a lot and that probably helps. I will do best in a home with someone who is home most of the time to keep me on track, but I also am good at wearing a belly band if needed.
I’m a very chill dog, totally at ease with other humans and dogs when they come to visit. I like to be where the action is. I follow my foster mom everywhere because I don't want to miss anything. Normally I am the strong silent type but when the two little “yappers” that I live with start barking out the window at a passer-by, I show my solidarity by letting out a wolf howl. That will scare off a burglar
Sometimes I like to cuddle up with my dog mates (our dog piles are pretty funny), and sometimes I want my own space.
My foster mom says that I am incredibly loving. I put my head on her lap and just look up at her for a long time. She think someone will be very happy with me because she calls me a big lovebug.

Max
10 yr old Male
Adoption Donation $250
Max is a gorgeous and nearly perfect pug! He is fawn but has black areas throughout his coat which makes him even more handsome! He has the softest coat you have ever felt! Max's owner passed away and sadly he had not had a lot of vet care. He had a very painful mouth but that is all fixed up now. Frequent untreated ear infections have left Max deaf but he still has his sight and he is very mobile and does not seem to have any arthritis! He is a very healthy guy now!
Like most pugs Max LOVES his person. He is the type of pug that will follow you everywhere...if you get up he is right there! He had trouble eating when he first came in, but since getting his teeth fixed, he has become the normal food obsessed pug and he can demand food by doing a silent snapping movement with his mouth which is so adorable!
Max is used to being an only dog, but in his foster home he has lived just fine with dogs and cats, although he has no interest in them at all..he is all about the people!
Max's potty training had not been enforced in his prior home, so we have been working with him to get back on track. He is doing much better than when he first came in. He is nearly dialed in with this but still will mark occasionally...especially if you leave him alone for long periods. He is great at wearing a belly band and continues to improve every day!
Like many pugs, Max does not tolerate the heat at all so it will be important he has a home with AC. He had a lot of breathing issues when he came in, he had his palate trimmed which has helped a lot but he still cannot tolerate heat or heavy exercise. He loves walks, but will need to take them when it is nice and cool.
Max is just now starting to come out of his shell since he is finally feeling better, we can tell there is a lot of personality in there, so we are sure his new home will continue to see him blossom!
