You all have followed Elsa's journey with us since Christmas time last year! Well now the time has finally come for her to find a home of her own. Elsa got her pacemaker so now she is a bionic girl and there is no stopping her! Elsa no longer has to take medicine and she is doing amazing!
Elsa is the kind of dog that everyone loves and she is friendly to all. She is happy to snooze the day away, or go for a walk with you. She likes hanging out with a canine friend and enjoys rolling in the grass and being playful. She is full potty trained and just an all around perfect girl.
The care associated with Elsa's pacemaker will just be routine check ins with a cardiologist so they can monitor and check the pacemaker to make sure it is working. This is a simple office appointment. Other than that she can live a normal happy life with no restrictions.
We will require that anyone interested in Elsa has impeccable vet history for their current dogs. We have spent a lot of money on getting Elsa's care and want to be sure she is well cared for. You should also live in or very near a major metropolitan area, since you will need to be near a veterinary cardiologist for the checkups and monitoring.
If you are interested in learning more about Elsa we would love to hear from you

Avaric came to us from Pug Nation Los Angeles. he was originally found stray completely emaciated from starvation. Pug Nation did the work of getting him healthy and now you would never know. He is very healthy and active and still very loving to people.
Avaric is very active, so a couch potato home will not be a good fit. He would be a great hiking companion or an agility dog. He is tall and thin and has a very athletic build to him. He loves playing with other dogs, but seems to gravitate to medium to large dogs.
Avaric is smart and learns quickly. He is still a puppy in many ways, but especially with his chewing and mouthiness. This guy loves to chew and if he gets bored he may chew things he should not, so that is why an active home will be best. He also is still perfecting his potty training skills.
He is very well mannered in public and loves meeting new people and dogs. He is good on leash and enjoys riding in the car as long as he is not in a crate...that is not his favorite thing. Even though he has lots of energy, he also loves to be cuddled and held like a baby. He is an all around great boy that just needs a little fine tuning!

Meet Chocoflan - the sweetest little companion you could ask for! This adorable pug mix is estimated to be around 1–2 years old, and he’s the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and cuddly. Chocoflan is healthy, happy, active, and absolutely loves being around people. Everyone who meets him falls in love with his soft fur, soulful eyes, and gentle personality.
Chocoflan is wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to play and snuggle with. He loves wrestling and lounging with his foster siblings and truly enjoys having dog friends around. He also does well with cats. He may try to play with them, but he has never shown any aggression. He’s lived with a child and has been loving and gentle, making him a great fit for a family of any age.
His journey hasn’t always been easy. Chocoflan was found living in a homeless camp in California before making his way to Oregon with Pacific Pug Rescue. It was discovered that sometime in the recent past his tail was pulled very hard resulting in nerve damage called pulled tail syndrome, which occurs when a dog's tail is yanked, causing the stretching or tearing of the delicate nerves and blood vessels that run through the tail and connect to the spine. This damage has affected his ability to tell when he has to poop or pee. Chocoflan can urinate and poop normally at times, but he does have frequent accidents. We are trying out some medications to see if we can help improve the incontinence, but it is likely he will always have some issues.
Despite these small challenges, Chocoflan is truly an amazing dog with so much love to give. He’s affectionate, social, adaptable, and happiest when he’s close to his people (and ideally another dog buddy too!). He’s looking for a patient, loving family who will adore him for the wonderful little dog he is. In return, he’ll give endless love, cuddles, and companionship.

Trixie is a 6 year old girl who just landed here from Pug Nation Los Angeles. What we know so far is she is very shy and scared of new people and new situations. She needs slow introductions and patience. She has seemed to do well with other dogs. We have a feeling there is a diva hiding in there. She just needs a quiet home that will give her the space she needs.

Ella was severely underweight and suffering from anaplasmosis, a tick disease. She is on the mend but needs to gain weight and build up her strength before being spayed. She is available to foster to adopt if you live in the Portland metro area.
She will be spayed in about a month and you would officially adopt her after that is done.
