Leadership

Brian

President

Brian Tennison has been involved with the Pacific Pug Rescue since 2012. He has served as the Intake Coordinator, Foster Coordinator, Vice President and is currently the President.

After spending more than 16 years working with a large international corporation, he dreamed of a day when he could be with his dogs all day long. That day finally arrived when he opened Buster & Lilly's Doggie Daycare in 2010! Brian is a graduate of the Animal Behavior College and a Certified Dog Trainer. He is passionate about the rescue of pugs and loves spending time with his four pugs: Tank, Lizzie, B.J. & Bijou.

Alana

Vice President/Intake Coordinator

Alana is our intake and adoption coordinator and long time foster. Her interest lies in end of life care and senior dogs of any breed, but she has a special place in her heart for senior pugs. A transplant to the Pacific Northwest, she can't imagine a better place to live. When not working or volunteering, she enjoys gardening, cooking and travel. She shares her home with two cats, 2 senior pugs and a 9yr old pug mix, as well as a revolving door of foster pugs.

Christie

Director

Christie has been an active member of Pacific Pug Rescue for over 2 years. Her contributions include: event planning, fundraising, and managing our adoption outreach program. Christie is also a foster parent for pugs who are waiting for their forever family.

Christie is a successful business owner and has been a hairstylist for over 40 years. She also worked for over 20 years in the catering business with her husband’s family-owned catering company. Christie fell in love with pugs in 2000 when she brought home “Doug the Pug and it’s been a true love affair ever since. She is mom to pugs Ruby Begonia, Louie, and Missy Diva so her home is filled with lots of pug snorts and other comical behavior (which hopefully results in treats being dispensed).

Her other interests include interior decorating, gardening, entertaining, and of course PUGS!
