Please keep in mind that our pugs are cared for in fosters homes, we do not have a facility. Opportunities to help with dog care are not common. If you are interested in being a foster home please click here for more info and a application


Transport Volunteer -- Transport volunteers pick up dogs from shelters and owners and bring them to foster homes. They pick up and deliver supplies medications or donations and take dogs to the vet. Trips can be needed from Northern California to the Canadian Border and anywhere in between. Someone who can help in the greater Portland area with vet trips is especially needed. Even if you are only available occasionally you may be a great deal of help! If you live anywhere in the Pacific Northwest and are available to drive an hour or so in any direction, are flexible and have a Drivers' License and Auto Insurance we would love to have you on board!

Outreach & Events- Help staff a booth or information table at our outreach events. Help with setup and tear down at large events and anything else needed.

Fundraising- We are always looking for people to help with fundraising! If you have ideas to help raise money we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for volunteers to procure donations to be used in raffles, auctions and events.

• Help with our Bottledrop fundraising by volunteering to pick up recyclables. Set up donation sites at businesses who are willing to donate their cans and bottles.
• Online Auctions- we have several online auctions yearly. We need people to help run the auction, procure donations and ship items.
• Event Planning- Plan large scale PPR events or help on a event planning committee.
• Work with local breweries and wine shops to set up Pints for Pugs or Pinot for Pugs events.

Marketing -- Pacific Pug Rescue needs volunteers experienced in Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Social Media and Web Design and management.
